Xcarlink Audi A4/A5/Q5/Q7 2016>  Multimedia Video Interface with Digital Radio & Digital TV control

The new Xcarlink v5 Multimedia Video Interface takes multimedia integration to the next level by offering a range of additional features. Not only can you connect any video source to your original factory fitted display (such as Smartphone Mirroring, DVD player, TV Tuner, iPod Video, games console etc) ; it also allows you to control Digital TV  via the original MMI controller for a fully integrated solution.

It features a dedicated rear camera input with Dynamic parking guidelines that automatically displays on your screen when the car is in reverse. 

There is also an optional HDMI module that can be added which opens up a range of possible connectivity options with the latest digital devices.  For example a smartphone can be connected to the interface via a HDMI cable which would allow the smartphone to be mirrored on your factory fitted screen.

The interface does not replace your existing system but simply offers perfect integration to maintain your OEM appearance.

Please note that this interface works with the Audi A4/A5/Q5/Q7 with the single monitor on the dahsboard.  It is not compatible with vehicles with the Virtual Cockpit

Installation

The video interface is fitted to the back of the infotainment unit which is located in the glove box

Please note: For audio, the interface must be connected to the car's AUX input.

Any other DVB-T or DAB module can be used but please note that it would only be possible to control via the original MMI system when used with the modules that we supply (selectable from the drop down menu above)
