This interface is specifically designed to deliver CD quality sound to Audi, Mercedes or BMW vehicles with the fiber optic audio connection.   It connects directly to the fiber optic connection on the back of the CD changer and then allows you to connect any audio device such as any smartphone via the 3.5mm Audio jack or the optional Bluetooth adapter.

Installation

The installation takes place behind the CD changer, usually found in the glove box.  Connect the fibre optic connection to the existing connection behind the CD and the provided power cable to the back of the CD changer. . An RCA to 3.5mm cable can be used to connect the interface to the headphone jack of your audio device (not included).

Compatible with the Audi 2G /3G MMI High and MMI Basic systems in the following models:

  • Audi A4/S4 2007 Onwards 
  • Audi A5/S5 2007 Onwards  
  • Audi A6/S7 2004 Onwards
  • Audi A8/S8 2002 Onwards
  • Audi Q7 2004  Onwards

Also compatible with the Audi A4 (B8), Audi A5 and Audi Q5 with the 2G MMI High upgrade option.
