Add an AUX input to your BMW Professional, iDrive CCC/CIC
This interface is specifically designed to deliver CD quality sound to BMW iDrive systems that do not have an Aux input as standard.   It connects directly to the fiber optic connection on the back of the CD changer and then allows you to connect any audio device such MP3 player, MP4 player, iPod, DVD etc though the AUX in connections. It can also be used in conjunction with our BMW video interface for full integration of audio and video.

The new Aux input simply appears as an additional "CD" which can be selected via the iDrive system (please note that coding for CD changer may be required if a CD changer has not been previously added or already present)

Installation

The installation takes place behind the CD changer, usually found in the glove box. Connect the fibre optic connection to the existing connection behind the CD changer and then connect the wiring loom to 12v power and Grounds. An RCA to 3.5mm cable can be used to connect the interface to the headphone jack of your audio device (not included).
